Chip Spiler

Through those years in Winder, he developed a relationship with Chateau Elan Hotels & Resorts. That relationship enabled him to eventually move through the golf ranks from Outside Golf Services to Director of Golf at the Chateau Elan resort courses. In 2001, Chip was promoted to the Director of Golf/General Manager position at the Legends of Chateau Elan. In 2009, Chip returned as the Director of Golf at Chateau Elan Hotel and Resorts.

Just before the River Club, Chip was the Director of Golf/ General Manager at Royal Lakes Golf & Country Club Chip is married to Amber. She is an author, Realtor, and an Equestrian who competes in upper-level events. They have three daughters: Lauren, a graduate of the University of Georgia, attended North Georgia College and is now an RN in the Athens Georgia area; Bella, who graduated from Kennesaw State University, is an accomplished violist, and is teaching Middle School Music in Cobb County; Lily graduated Dacula High School and is following in her mother’s Equestrian footsteps. She is a recognized top-level eventer, competing in state competitions. She currently is an intern with a top Olympic Equestrian trainer.

When Chip’s not at the golf course, you can find him quail, duck hunting, or riding his Harley Davidson.
